QUICK UPDATES AROUND TIMBERWOOD

You may have noticed the signs that went up around Slumber Pass and Blanco in the last few weeks indicating the start of the stop light at that intersection.  This week some general construction work was started on that project so it looks like we are underway for the completion of that project in the coming weeks.

Speaking of completions of projects….notice that we went way past the 3 weeks that were estimated to complete the Borgfeld expansion?  Well, still underway and still in the finishing stages, it appears we are getting close….but I can’t tell you when the final striping will be completed as well as activation of the stop light at Borgfeld and Bulverde Road.  Since it’s in its blinking phase, I would expect it to go live shortly as well.  Next up will be the 2nd phase of Borgfeld from Timberline up to Blanco – no date for the start of that project yet to my knowledge.

Reminder that the clubhouse will be closed for renovation of the flooring in the fitness room the week of December 14-18.

We have a new Crime Watch Chair, Paul Rutkowski, who has previously done the position and will be working to grow the program once again for our neighborhood.  Congrats Paul!

You probably have already seen the election results from the annual meeting, but just in case you haven’t our new board/returning board members elected to two year terms are:

Karen O’Neil

Rick Mesa

Craig Zenner

Doug Eberle

Enjoy your holiday season.  Merry Christmas!

DON’T FORGET TO GET OUT AND VOTE FOR THE HOA BOARD YOU WANT TO REPRESENT YOU!

Just a quick reminder to be sure to drop off your proxy vote at the TPOA annual meeting, Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 7 pm.  Might be a good idea to drop off 15-20 minutes early to keep from standing in line should you not want to stay for the meeting.  If you didn’t get a chance to send in your proxy, your vote matters both to elect the board members who will represent you and also to help establish a quorum in order to accomplish the business of tomorrow night’s agenda.

Please be sure to let your voice be heard and either plan to attend the meeting at the clubhouse, or drop by and cast your vote!  It does matter!
