MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND ACTIVITIES

A quick reminder for anyone interested that Music In The Park has been moved to Saturday this season, or at least for the time being, to respond to requests for the concerts to be held on Saturday’s rather than Friday’s.  This weekend, the Mo Del’s are returning for their annual concert event for Timberwood Park residents.  Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. please join them in the park for a kick-off to summer concert!

There were comments by some property owners that the last Music In the Park was completely dark except during the break, making it difficult and dangerous for residents to navigate to and from the restroom or to other areas near the clubhouse during the concert.  Please consider bringing a flashlight to light your way if you should need to leave your seats during the concert.  Also, comments were made that the band stage had been moved to the front of the pavilion effectively cutting off the majority of the smooth, cement surface of the pavilion used in the past as a dance floor and causing residents to dance in the grass in front of the band if they wished to.  It’s important to let the board know and our property management company, Spectrum…… if you are experiencing difficulties during these property owner sponsored events…after-all you pay for them with your assessment dollars!

Next week the Rummage Sale will take place on June 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Be sure to reserve your spot if you wish to participate in selling those slightly used items you’d like to clear from storage!

Did you know there is a Jiffy Lube going in on Blanco next to the businesses located off Midnight and Blanco?  Framing is underway and you should see signs coming soon for it.
